The morning

The day started in fog thick enough to blur the street. The old roof was photographed from the ridge before anything came off.

Synthetic underlayment went down over the bare deck, cut and sealed at every stack. Bundles were opened along the ridge while the fog was still burning off the day.

The finish

The roof that started the day under fog ended it shingled, vented, and capped. Every finish photo carries the same date as the staging photos.
