Before

Four days before the build, the house was walked and photographed — roof, elevations, fence lines. The before is part of the record.

Sunrise

Tear-off started with the sun still on the horizon. Debris went onto tarps, not lawn.

Down to the deck

The whole crew worked the slopes at once, and the deck was bare by the time the drone went up.

The system

The parts of a roof nobody sees from the street: labeled bundles, synthetic underlayment fastened over the deck, shingles going on over it.

The finish

The finals were flown the day after tear-off. The close-ups show the hip and ridge work, where shortcuts usually show first.
